My name is Janez Zalaznik and this is my Antique Radio Collection Home Page.

I'm living in Slovenia, in the city of Ljubljana. I graduated on Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana in 1987.
Since than I work as a free lance artist in the fields of painting and  graphic design. Through studying design and as music lover, I became most interested in the old tube radios, especially those pre-war sets because of their quality in music reproduction as well as their sometimes masterpiece design.

Therefore I'm collecting radios from the early '90 and number of sets that are taking place in my apartment (and basement in my parents house and my studio...) is increased to near 150. They were produced in former Yugoslavia, Italy, Germany, France, Austria, Hungary, Czech republic, Holland and USA and even Australia and New Zealand. Great names of radio history, such as Telefunken, Blaupunkt, Saba, Siemens, Braun, Superla, Radione, Tesla, Orion,  RCA, Zenith, Crosley, Philco, GE and other, all have their place in my collection. Thanks to support of my wife (who tolarate the time and money spent on this stupid hobby) and kids (who don't try to "repair" radios), I'm sharing my passion with you.

This site is work in progress and I'm trying to put on a site every newcomer as soon as possible. Almost every month some new sets are displayed, so...
